1. Unplug and plug the device back into the vehicle after 5 minutes. When the green light on the device is solid, turn ON the ignition and drive around for 2-3 minutes. Now check if the device is communicating. 

2. If the previous step does not work, unplug the device and plug it back into another vehicle. Repeat step 1. 

This will help us determine if this is a device or vehicle port issue.

3. See if the vehicle OBD connector pins 4 and 16 are populated. 

4. Check if power is available between the OBD connector pins 4 and 16.
