To plan routes with new or existing address search groups:


1. Navigate to Address Book Map from the navigation menu.


2. After that, you can display on the map one or multiple search groups that you want to use for planning routes by checking the corresponding boxes. To create a new search group, click on the Add New Group button in the top left corner of the screen. Learn more about how to create advanced search groups.



3. To plan one or multiple routes with a single search group, first, click on the gear icon next to this search group and then select Plan Route from its menu.


Alternatively, you can plan routes with multiple search groups at a time. To do so, first, select/display on the map the search groups that you want to use by checking the corresponding boxes.

4. Once you display and find addresses from the preferred search groups on the map, use one of the drawing tools in the top left corner of the map to draw an area around the addresses/locations that you want to use for planning route(s). After drawing the area, you can also check how many addresses are included into this area in the bottom left corner of the screen.


 

To plan one or multiple routes with the addresses that are located in the drawn area:


1. First, right-click on this area and then select Plan Route with Area Addresses from the menu.

2. Next, go to the Departure tab to set up the start address for the route(s):

3. In the Find Address field, you can input a new address from which you want to start the route(s);

Alternatively, you can use one of the selected addresses as the start address for the route(s). 



4. In the Optimization tab, you can set up how many and what kind of routes you want to plan by selecting one of the following optimization types: 

  • Single Driver Route,
  • Multiple Drivers Route,
  • Balanced Team Route,
  • Disable Optimization.


5. After that, specify the rest of the route’s parameters to your preference and then click on the Create Route button.
