As of now, there are high chances of datalogger connecting to another SafetyCam if in the same vicinity.
Eg: Assuming there are vehicles with Safetycam and they are parked next to each other. There are chances of datalogger from Vehicle A connecting to Safetycam of vehicle B. However, as the trip starts and the distance increases between the vehicles, the datalogger will connect to the correct Safetycam.
