If a vehicle is paired with the defective device, you need to update the device serial number with the new device serial number for this vehicle in the Azuga web application.

However, a vehicle is automatically added to the application whenever the Customer Care team adds a new device to your account. Initially, the application sets the name of the vehicle with the serial number of the device. Before you proceed to update the new device, you need to deactivate this vehicle associated with the device.

To deactivate the vehicle, navigate to the Vehicles page (under the Admin tab) and click the cross icon c
orresponding to this vehicle.




Steps to update the device serial number:


1. Log in to the Azuga Fleet Web application.


2. Navigate to the Vehicles page, under the Admin tab.


3. Click the pencil iconfor the vehicle for which you want to update the details.



4. From the Device drop-down, select the serial number of the new device.


5. Click Update Vehicle.
