To create a Geofence:


1. Log in to the Azuga Web application.


2. Navigate to the Geofences page, under the Admin tab.


3. Click Add Geofence.



4. Fill out the form with appropriate details.


a. Input the location of the geofence. This can be done in two ways: 


i. By using an existing landmark – Select a landmark from the drop-down (the drop-down contains all the landmarks configured in your account)


ii. By manually entering an address in the text box  


b. Enter the name of the geofence.



c. Select the Geofence Type. A geofence can be circular or polygonal. 


i. Circular - If you are creating a circular geofence, adjust the radius of the geofence by moving the Radius scroll bar. You can set the radius in Miles or Meters.



ii. Polygon -  If you are creating a polygonal geofence, mark the vertices of the polygon on the map.



d. Using the color picker, select a color for the geofence.


e. Select the groups you want to monitor. 


f. Set the Alert Conditions. 



g. Select the users/drivers whom you want to send the alert emails to.


h. Enter CC addresses, if any. 


i. Select how frequently you want the alert email to be sent to you. 


j. Under Send email alert to,

  • Select Group Admin if you want to send the alert email to the administrator(s) of the selected group(s).

  • Select Paired Driver if you want to send the alert email to the driver who is currently paired with the vehicle.

5. Click Save Geofence.
